Exchanges,  Returns, Damaged Packages and Non-Delivery

We want your shopping experience with us to be so positive that you will visit us again and again.  Part of that experience will be the no-hassle exchange & return policy set forth below.

Exchanges

Many of our customers have never purchased a magnifier before.  Sometimes they misjudge the amount of magnification they actually need or they pick the wrong focal length.  You will live with your magnifier for a long time, so we want you to feel completely comfortable with it. The same no-hassle exchange policy applies to magnifiers and to other items, as well.

You may exchange a single item on an order within 30 days of your receipt of that item.  Exchanges will not be issued for returns commenced after that date.  You must send the item, postage prepaid to us.  The item and the packing must be returned to us in new condition for an exchange.  Returned items must include all manufacturer's packaging, electrical cords and instruction manuals. If the item or the packaging are not in new and saleable condition when returned, we will prorate the credit you are to receive for the returned item.  Any items must be returned to us in a shipping box (not a mailing pouch), or no exchange will issue. Credit will not include shipping out or back.  We will charge your card to ship the replacement item to you.

Returns

We do not accept returns of the Electric Ring Cutter, however, the cutting assembly is subject to a lifetime warranty against breakage.  We do not accept returns of the Tungsten Ring Removal Tool (Ring Cracker).

Subject to the above, if you want to return 1 of any item purchased, you may do so within 30 days of your receiving it.  Refunds will not be issued for returns commenced after that date.  You must return the item, postage prepaid to us.  The item and the packaging must be returned to us in new condition for a full refund of the purchase price.  Returned items must include all manufacturer's packaging, electrical cords and instruction manuals. If the item or the packaging are not in new condition when returned, we will prorate the refund.  Returned items must be returned to us in a shipping box (not a mailing pouch), or no refund will issue.  Refund will not include shipping out or back. 

Subject tot the above, if you want to return more than 1 of any item you must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).  We accept such requests by email only to paul@loupe-magnifier.com.  The email must include your order number and your full name.

Please include your order number and paperwork (included in the box) when returning products to us.   We need to have a way to associate your returned merchandise with your order so that we can issue a credit to your credit card.

It is important that you ship the product to us in a way that can be tracked. We cannot be responsible for lost packages that do not arrive at our warehouse.  For this very reason, you should consider insuring any package that you return to us.

Wrong Product Sent

If we mail you the wrong product, email us immediately at paul@loupe-magnifier.com.  We do not want you to be inconvenienced by our mistake, and we will usually mail out the correct item upon receiving an email commitment from you to return the item we sent to you in error. Upon receipt of the item, we will credit you the return shipping.  If you do not return the product we sent in error, we will not give you a credit for it, and you authorize us to charge your credit card the price of the replacement item plus delivery.

Return of Products with Consumable Components

The refund of any product that comes with a consumable component will not include our retail price for the consumable component.

Damaged Delivery and Non-Delivery

If your order fails to be delivered to you after we have notified you of shipment, or if the goods arrive damaged, you agree to fill out and sign this form and send it to us within 60 days of the date of shipment.  We purchase insurance on everything we ship.  In order for us to make a claim on our insurance we need to present the signed form to our insurance carrier, and we are under a time limit to do so.  This enables us to credit your account appropriately.
